Office Tour and Our Technology

New office tour photos will be coming soon!

Santee Dental Group uses the most up-to-date and advanced technology when it comes to our services and we want our patients to know it. Below, see what kind of technology our office uses and if you have any questions or want to schedule an appointment, don't hesitate to give your Santee CA dentist a call at (619) 449 8622.

3M True Definition Scanner

3M True Definition Scanner is supported by an open and secure cloud-based platform that lets dentists easily share files and connect with laboratories and other partners. The technology is designed to connect with mills and other systems–now and into the future. This flexibility means that dentists can work with their existing labs to prescribe the best material solution for the desired outcome.

Cone Beam-CT Scan and 3D Imaging

Cone beam-CT scan is a special type of x-ray equipment that's used when regular x-rays of the dental and facial region aren't sufficient. This will beused to produce three dimensional (3D) images of your teeth, soft tissue, nerve pathways, and bone structure in one single scan. There's no necessary, excess preparation on the patient's end and it's just as simple and quick as a regular x-ray.

These scans are used for different dental cases, including impacted teeth, dental implants, jaw evaluation, bone structure, tooth orientation, restorative purposes, and more.

Intraoral Camera

The intraoral camera is an advanced diagnostic tool that allows Dr. Baik to view the entirely of your mouth in a number of different angles. It's displayed on a monitor so that we can get a closer look at any potential hidden issues or problems that could arise. Since it's difficult for dentists to see all that could be wrong with your teeth with the naked eye, this camera gives us the ability to see it all. Patients also have the ability to look at the same images and receive a detailed description of what we're seeing to further understand any issues that may be spotted.
